I am using it to deploy IE6 without having the users be administrators on their machines as well as other MSI/setup.exe packages.

I use TqcRunAs to launch scripts during user logon with local admin rights.

We are using it to perform administrative tasks during logon, like deploylment of non msi packages or backup up registry... Another task is to give our users the power to defrag their system.

We've struggled to keep all users "restricted". Unfortunately, not all programs run under restricted mode users. Some ONLY run as admins. We use it to allow restricted users to run these programs. -ginel

Using it to set up specialized user workstations. Standard image is ok for most applications, but specialized uses require additional software installation, additional user rights, changed file security, etc. Logon script for special users kicks off a script that checks to see if customization has been done & if not, runs through some commands to do the above, one of which is tqcrunas to add the current user into the local administrators group.

Our company is using tqc for all programs, which are so badly programmed, that they don't work with user-rights. Besides that we are using it in our logon-script for systemchanges like modify registry-keys and so on.

We're using it to extract GUID details from our domain so that the relevant GUID security permissions can then be granted/revoked on the workstations registry via an SDB INF file update.
