Usually, you don't need elevated privileges to import keys into HKEY_CURRENT_USER, so one solution would be splitting your script in two, one for the tasks that need elevated privileges and one for the tasks that don't need such privileges.

I have the same problem, splitted my scrip on fore hand, but the [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft] is NOT writeable (WinXP) exept for administrators.

I tried to a day to do this, but you can't. the current user registry is in use by the currently logged on user. tqcrunas or any other runas will only work with the current user registry of the runas user logon or .default if you choose not to load a profile.
